I’m thrilled to announce that I will be graduating from the University of Toronto this month with a degree in Cognitive Science and Psychology. This was an important goal which took a considerable amount of sacrifice and dedication that I could never have accomplished without the love and support of my wife, and a great deal of adjustments and sacrifices to my comedy career. I will be re-engaging the comedy scene as well as a few other mediums, but first I will enjoy my commencement ceremonies and reflect on my achievement until the end of the month.

Episode three of The Atomic Brain with Pete Johansson and special guest person sitting in is Scott Thompson
OK, so I bumped Michelle this week. It’s nothing personal but I only have two mic’s. And I asked her to find another one, but she was like, whatever. So my guest is Scott Thompson, a very passionate and incredibly talented comic/actor and he disagree’s but a bit of a social activist. It was a really neat recording. He spoke for a while before we rolled digital, and he was so passionate and raw. As a gay man who was out long, long before it was a safe choice in entertainment Scott has earned a point of view that is as funny as it is surprising. It was a joy to dance the dangerous edge of impropriety with him. And after we stopped recording we kept talking for another hour. I know its only my third podcast, but damn… What a fucking interesting cat! Trigger warning, there was little off limits, and the creator of Buddy Cole isn’t afraid to speak his mind, cause he’s earned the right to not give a fuck…
As always, please rate it if you can, share it, and follow The Atomic Brain on Facebook and Twitter!

Pete Johansson Supporting Reg D. Hunter on his UK Tour
We are very happy to announce that Pete Johansson will be supporting the brilliantly funny Reginald D. Hunter on his UK tour this year!
Click here for dates and ticket links.
Reginald D. Hunter is an American born comic who has been residing in the United Kingdom since the age of 27, when the classically trained theater student did his first stand-up on a dare. That experience derailed his studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and Hunter shifted from acting to stand-up.
He makes people uncomfortable, shaking their suppositions and airing plenty of his own dirty laundry. If his television appearances have presented him as a comic of companionable yet risque wit, then Hunter’s stand-up proves him a hard hitting pugilist. His jokes ring true and often hit very close to home. The Times called him “Comically astute, rewardingly provocative”.
Pete is very excited to be working with such a fearless and pioneering comedian, and can’t wait for the tour to start!
Snowed In Comedy Tour 2013
Pete Johansson was one of the four comics chosen to take part in the third annual Snowed In Comedy Tour across Canada. He has spent all of January touring around the Canadian resorts, performing alongside internationally acclaimed stars Arj Barker, Craig Campbell and Dan Quinn.
Many of the dates have sold out and only a few remain to be done. It won’t be long before Pete is back on the slopes, with dates already in for the Taking the Piste gigs in Meribel, France in March. Taking the Piste is based in the French Alps and hosts some of the absolute best international talent on their stages and slopes every year.
